Hiring Senior Financial Accountant in Kuwait

A progressive trading and contracting corporate group in Fahaheel, Kuwait, is recruiting an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to manage core financial reporting and general ledger operations.

The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.

Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounts receivable, billing workflows, aged debtor reports, and collections.
• Oversee accounts payable verification, purchase match audits, and vendor disbursements.
• Post complex journal vouchers including monthly accruals, prepayments, and asset depreciation.
• Maintain comprehensive fixed asset registers and conduct monthly physical verifications.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• 4 to 5 years of progressive corporate accounting experience in Kuwait or GCC.
• High proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, nested formulas).
• Solid experience utilizing ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or Microsoft Dynamics).
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic is highly advantageous.
