Hiring Bakery Chef & Pastry Specialist in Kuwait
A well-known bakery and premium party catering business in Kuwait is urgently seeking a qualified, diligent, and competent Bakery Chef & Pastry Specialist to join its team in Jahra, Kuwait.
The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.
Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.
Job Responsibilities
- Bake, decorate, and assemble signature celebration cakes, tiered wedding cakes, and artisanal pastries.
- Prepare savory catering appetizers, mini pastries, and dessert buffets for party orders and events.
- Operate commercial spiral dough mixers, deck ovens, and pastry sheeters safely and hygienically.
- Maintain high standards of culinary presentation, texture consistency, and aesthetic garnishing.
- Oversee kitchen hygiene, sanitizing prep stations and baking tools per municipal directives.
- Monitor raw ingredients (flour, dairy, chocolate, fillings) to ensure freshness and prevent wastage.
- Adhere strictly to Kuwait municipality food safety regulations and bakery quality standards.
Requirements
- 2-5 Years of verified baking and dessert experience in commercial bakeries, pastry shops, or catering kitchens.
- Valid Kuwait Baladiya Health Card is strictly mandatory.
- Valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18).
- Strong creative decorating talent, manual dexterity, and culinary discipline.
- Good cooperative attitude and team leadership skills.
- Immediate availability to commence employment is highly preferred.
