A high-end specialty cafe and artisanal dessert lounge in Kuwait is urgently seeking qualified, diligent, and competent Baristas & Pastry Chefs to join its team in Kuwait City, Kuwait.

The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.

Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.

Job Responsibilities

• Extract specialty espresso coffees, prepare manual pour-overs (V60, Chemex), and steam latte art.
• Bake and assemble signature artisanal desserts, including molten cakes, premium cheesecakes, and birthday cakes.
• Ensure beverage recipes and pastry garnishes strictly match brand presentation guidelines.
• Maintain barista bar, ovens, mixing machinery, and prep surfaces spotlessly clean and sanitized.
• Manage daily pastry inventory, rotate dairy ingredients per FIFO rules, and report shortages.
• Deliver warm hospitality and attentive customer service to cafe patrons.
• Adhere strictly to Kuwait municipality food hygiene codes and cafe service standards.

Requirements

• 2-4 Years of practical experience as a Barista or Bakery/Pastry Chef in modern cafes or bakeries.
• Conversational fluency in Arabic is required.
• Valid Kuwait Baladiya Health Card is strictly mandatory.
• Valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18).
• Strong creative flair, neat personal presentation, and passion for hospitality.
• Immediate availability to commence employment is highly preferred.
