Hiring Chinese Cuisine Specialty Cook in Kuwait
A specialty Asian restaurant in Salmiya, Kuwait, is looking for a skilled Cook specializing in Chinese cuisine to prepare authentic wok dishes, dim sum, and noodles.
The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.
Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute traditional Chinese wok cookery including fried rice, chow mein, sweet & sour dishes, and stir-fries.
- Prepare specialty sauces, marinades, broths, and dumplings according to established restaurant recipes.
- Manage wok station temperature controls, maintain clean oil vats, and inspect ingredient freshness.
- Maintain immaculate hygiene across cooking stations following Kuwait municipality health guidelines.
- Coordinate with kitchen helpers to maintain smooth line service during dinner peaks.
Requirements
- Proven cooking expertise in authentic Chinese and Pan-Asian dishes.
- Hold a valid Kuwait Municipality Health Card.
- Transferable Kuwait Visa (Article 18).
- Immediate availability to join.
