Hiring Civil Draftsman & Technical Coordinator in Kuwait
A leading structural contracting and industrial construction firm in Amghara, Kuwait, is urgently recruiting a skilled Civil Draftsman to prepare engineering shop drawings and coordinate site technical details.
The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.
Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.
Job Responsibilities
- Produce detailed civil, structural, and architectural shop drawings, reinforcement details, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD.
- Interpret architectural blueprints, structural design calculations, and engineering specifications accurately.
- Coordinate with site project engineers to resolve drawing discrepancies and update revisions promptly.
- Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ), material take-offs, and bar bending schedules (BBS).
- Maintain organized digital archives of approved drawings, project submittals, and client correspondence.
Requirements
- Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural Drafting, or equivalent technical certification.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural detailing software.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on civil drafting experience on commercial or industrial projects in Kuwait.
- Valid Article 18 transferable visa; available for immediate employment.
