Hiring Coffee Roaster – Shuwaikh, Kuwait
A growing coffee business in Shuwaikh, Kuwait is looking for a talented and experienced Coffee Roaster to join its team.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with commercial coffee roasting, specialty coffee, roast profiling, bean grading, and quality control. Candidates currently based in Kuwait or those who can relocate immediately are encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities- Operate commercial coffee roasting machines safely and efficiently.
- Roast coffee beans according to established roasting profiles and quality standards.
- Monitor roasting stages, temperatures, timing, and overall roast development.
- Maintain consistency across different coffee batches.
- Evaluate roasted coffee for quality, flavor, aroma, color, and consistency.
- Apply knowledge of specialty coffee and roasting profiles to achieve desired results.
- Inspect and grade green and roasted coffee beans according to quality requirements.
- Identify roasting issues and make appropriate adjustments when necessary.
- Maintain accurate roasting and production records.
- Assist with basic inventory management and coffee bean stock tracking.
- Keep roasting equipment and the work area clean and organized.
- Follow workplace safety, hygiene, and food-handling procedures.
- Work independently while coordinating effectively with the wider team.
- Minimum 2 years of coffee roasting experience.
- Practical experience operating commercial coffee roasting machines.
- Good knowledge of specialty coffee and roasting profiles.
- Strong understanding of roast quality and batch consistency.
- Knowledge of coffee bean grading and quality control.
- Ability to monitor and evaluate roasting results.
- Basic record-keeping and inventory management skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Candidates currently based in Kuwait are welcome.
