Hiring Kitchen Equipment Maintenance Technician in Kuwait
A leading food service and commercial catering equipment maintenance provider in Kuwait is seeking an experienced Kitchen Equipment Technician to diagnose, overhaul, and service heavy-duty restaurant appliances.
The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.
Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.
Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and conduct preventive maintenance on commercial dishwashers, combi-ovens, deep fryers, and grills.
- Troubleshoot commercial ice makers, walk-in chillers, hot holding cabinets, and bakery machinery.
- Perform scheduled maintenance checkups, electrical component testing, and mechanical calibrations across client kitchens.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdown calls from hotels, central kitchens, and premier dining establishments.
- Maintain comprehensive service logs, recommend necessary spare parts, and verify equipment safety standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in commercial kitchen and catering equipment repair in the GCC or Kuwait.
- In-depth technical knowledge of electrical wiring, thermostat controls, heating elements, and water pressure systems.
- Ability to read technical schematics and use diagnostic multimeters effectively.
- Valid transferable Article 18 Kuwait residency; ready for immediate local joining.
