Cost Control Engineer Required in Ahmadi, Kuwait
Enshaat Al Sayer is looking for an experienced Cost Control Engineer to join its project team in Ahmadi, Kuwait.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in project cost control, budgeting, cost estimation, expenditure tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis, preferably within the construction, engineering, or oil & gas industry.
Job Responsibilities- Monitor and control project costs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and maintain project budgets and cost control systems.
- Perform accurate cost estimation and budget monitoring.
- Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and project costing.
- Track project expenditures and committed costs.
- Prepare regular cost reports for project management.
- Monitor actual costs against approved budgets.
- Identify cost variances and investigate the reasons behind them.
- Prepare cost forecasts and provide accurate financial projections.
- Support project teams in maintaining cost efficiency and budget compliance.
- Analyze financial and project cost data to identify potential cost risks.
- Coordinate with project, engineering, procurement, and finance teams regarding cost information.
- Maintain accurate cost records and supporting documentation.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project cost control.
- Experience in construction, engineering, or oil & gas projects is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Cost estimation
- Budget monitoring
- Cost reporting
- WBS development and costing
- Expenditure tracking
- Cost forecasting
- Variance analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively with project and management teams.
- Must have valid residency in Kuwait.
