Cyber Security Engineer / Security Architect (Mid-Level) Required in Kuwait

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cyber Security Engineer / Security Architect to join our cybersecurity team. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in security engineering, security operations, governance, risk management, compliance, and enterprise security architecture.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and improving enterprise security controls while supporting Security Operations Center (SOC) activities, incident response, compliance initiatives, and information security governance programs.

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise security solutions
• Develop and review security architectures for on-premises and cloud environments
• Implement security best practices aligned with business requirements
• Review and optimize firewall, endpoint security, and network security configurations
• Support infrastructure hardening and secure architecture initiatives

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise security platforms and SOC technologies
• Deploy and optimize:
  • SIEM
  • EDR
  • SOAR
  • Security monitoring tools
• Develop correlation rules, security use cases, dashboards, and automated workflows
• Manage vulnerability management platforms and remediation activities
• Conduct security architecture reviews and recommend improvements
• Develop operational procedures and technical security documentation

• Support implementation and maintenance of the Information Security Management System (ISMS)
• Conduct security risk assessments and compliance reviews
• Perform gap assessments against:
  • ISO/IEC 27001
  • NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF)
• Develop and maintain:
  • Security Policies
  • Standards
  • Procedures
  • Guidelines
• Assist with internal and external security audits
• Track compliance findings and corrective actions
• Participate in governance meetings and security reviews

• Review vulnerability assessment reports
• Prioritize findings based on business risk
• Coordinate remediation activities with infrastructure teams
• Verify and validate remediation effectiveness

• Prepare executive and technical security reports
• Maintain security documentation and asset inventories
• Report security metrics, compliance status, and risks
• Support audit preparation and management reporting

 Bachelor's Degree in:

• Cyber Security
• Information Security
• Computer Science
• Related Discipline

5–7 years of cybersecurity experience

 Strong experience in:

• Security Engineering
• Security Operations
• Security Architecture
• Enterprise Security Controls

 Experience with:

• SIEM Platforms
• Endpoint Security Solutions
• Vulnerability Management Programs
• Security Monitoring Technologies

 Strong knowledge of:

• Information Security Governance
• Security Risk Management
• Network Security
• Enterprise Infrastructure Security

 Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills

Candidates should have practical experience with:
