Hiring Electrical Maintenance Foreman in Kuwait
A premier engineering contracting and facility management corporation in Kuwait City, Kuwait is seeking a qualified Electrical Maintenance Foreman.
The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.
Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise site electrical teams carrying out scheduled preventive and reactive maintenance on facility systems.
- Interpret complex electrical single-line diagrams (SLDs), schematic drawings, and equipment layouts.
- Oversee the testing and maintenance of high/low voltage switchboards, UPS systems, and emergency generators.
- Prepare daily work assignments, coordinate permit-to-work (PTW) applications, and track maintenance tickets.
- Inspect completed electrical installations to ensure adherence to Kuwait MEW regulations and safety codes.
- Maintain comprehensive logs of facility equipment downtime, repairs, and spare parts consumption.
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized technical polytechnic.
- Minimum 4 years of proven supervisory experience in facility maintenance or electrical construction.
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical engineering schematics and control diagrams.
- Valid Kuwait transferable residency (Article 18).
- Effective team leadership and problem-solving skills under operational pressure.
