Hiring Electrical Technician & Helper in Kuwait
A leading electromechanical and electrical contracting firm in Kuwait is urgently seeking a qualified, diligent, and competent Electrical Technician & Low Voltage Helper to join its team in Kuwait.
The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.
Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.
Job Responsibilities
- Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot low voltage electrical wiring, conduits, cable trays, and control panels.
- Read and interpret electrical single-line diagrams, engineering schematics, and architectural layouts accurately.
- Perform routine maintenance and diagnostic testing on distribution boards, switchgear, and lighting systems.
- Utilize electrical testing tools, multimeters, and insulation testers following strict electrical safety protocols.
- Assist senior electrical engineers with site installations, cable pulling, and system commissioning.
- Maintain tools, electrical instruments, and personal protective equipment (PPE) in optimal working condition.
- Adhere strictly to Kuwait Ministry of Electricity & Water (MEW) standards and site safety regulations.
Requirements
- 2-4 Years of practical experience in low voltage electrical installations, commercial wiring, and maintenance works.
- Technical Trade Diploma or ITI Certification in Electrical Engineering.
- Valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18).
- Demonstrated ability to perform duties independently and in field site crews.
- Strong technical problem-solving capabilities and commitment to workplace safety.
- Immediate availability to commence employment is highly preferred.
