Urgent Hiring – Erection Engineer Required in Kuwait
A reputed company in Kuwait is looking for an experienced Erection Engineer with strong experience in electrical substation projects, especially Indoor Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) Substations from 132KV to 400KV voltage levels.
Job Responsibilities- Supervise installation and erection activities for indoor GIS substation projects.
- Manage site execution activities according to client requirements, project specifications, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with subcontractors including civil, firefighting, and HVAC teams.
- Resolve site issues and ensure smooth project execution.
- Review construction drawings, interfacing layouts, and technical documents.
- Coordinate with project teams for timely completion of assigned works.
- Review BOMs, quality plans, and project documentation.
- Prepare daily reports, work schedules, manpower records, and material requisitions.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements at the project site.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (according to Kuwait Bachelor Standard).
- Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical substation projects.
- Experience in installation and erection of Indoor GIS Substations is mandatory.
- Experience with voltage levels from 132KV to 400KV.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Substation construction and installation
- GIS equipment
- Electrical drawings and layouts
- Quality documentation and project reporting
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage site activities independently.
