Hiring Microbiology Laboratory Technician in Kuwait
A certified food manufacturing and testing facility in Kuwait is hiring a dedicated Food Analysis Technician specializing in microbiology to ensure product safety, quality compliance, and food safety standards.
The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.
Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.
Job Responsibilities
- Collect and prepare raw ingredient and finished food product samples for microbiological testing.
- Conduct bacterial culture plating, pathogen detection (Salmonella, Listeria, E. coli), and yeast/mold counts.
- Perform chemical food quality analyses including pH, moisture content, and water activity.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment including autoclaves, incubators, and biosafety hoods.
- Document test results accurately and prepare Certificate of Analysis (CoA) reports.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Microbiology, Food Technology, or Applied Chemistry.
- Hands-on experience in food testing laboratories or industrial QA environments.
- Familiarity with ISO 17025 laboratory guidelines and food safety standards (HACCP/ISO 22000).
- Valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa.
