Hiring Freight Forwarding Sales Representative in Kuwait
A premier international freight forwarding and shipping logistics company is urgently seeking a qualified, proactive, and competent Freight Forwarding Sales Representative to join its team in Kuwait City, Kuwait.
The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.
Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and acquire new commercial customers requiring international freight forwarding and logistics services in Kuwait.
- Generate qualified sales inquiries for ocean freight (FCL/LCL), air cargo, road transportation, and specialized customs clearance.
- Analyze client cargo specifications, coordinate with pricing desks, and present competitive freight quotations.
- Follow up actively on submitted proposals, conduct face-to-face client meetings, and close profitable logistics contracts.
- Coordinate with freight operations specialists post-confirmation to ensure seamless cargo handling and client satisfaction.
- Maintain comprehensive records of client pipelines, lead conversions, quotations, and confirmed shipment volumes.
- Adhere strictly to Kuwait commercial regulations and corporate operational policies.
Requirements
- 3+ Years of verified sales experience in international freight forwarding, shipping, or supply chain services.
- Strong working knowledge of global shipping documentation, Incoterms, customs procedures, and multi-modal transport.
- Excellent bilingual communication skills in English and Arabic (mandatory).
- Demonstrated ability to generate business independently and negotiate commercial contracts effectively.
- Valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22).
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and client relationship management capabilities.
- Immediate availability to commence employment is highly preferred.
