Hiring Financial Accountant in Kuwait
A well-established commercial trading and business enterprise situated in Al Rai, Kuwait is actively recruiting a qualified Financial Accountant.
The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.
Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage routine bookkeeping, general ledger vouchers, cash book reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations, vendor statement reviews, and accounts receivable collections.
- Prepare monthly trial balance sheets, financial profit and loss statements, and expense breakdown reports.
- Review supplier commercial purchase invoices, ensure three-way matching against purchase orders and GRNs.
- Assist during annual external audit reviews, preparing required financial schedules and supporting paperwork.
- Ensure adherence to standard accounting principles, corporate governance, and Kuwait statutory guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in commercial firms within Kuwait.
- Must hold a transferable Article 18 (Ahli) residency visa.
- Salary: 400 KWD per month; immediate joiners preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to meet financial deadlines independently.
