Shuwaikh Gate Holding K.S.C. is seeking an accomplished and strategic Group Finance Director to lead the financial management of the Group and its subsidiaries. This executive leadership role will drive financial strategy, governance, compliance, treasury management, and business performance across a diversified portfolio of companies.
PositionGroup Finance DirectorAbout the RoleThe Group Finance Director will provide strategic financial leadership to the organization, ensuring financial sustainability, robust governance, regulatory compliance, and value creation across the Group. The role serves as a key advisor to the CEO, Executive Management, and Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership- Develop and execute the Group's financial strategy aligned with corporate objectives
- Act as the primary financial advisor to the CEO, Executive Management, and Board
- Support business expansion, acquisitions, investments, and new ventures
- Evaluate financial feasibility and investment opportunities
- Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
- Oversee consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and regulatory reporting requirements
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and strategic goals
- Present financial reports and performance analysis to senior leadership and the Board
- Develop financial models and business cases for strategic initiatives
- Manage Group treasury operations and liquidity planning
- Optimize working capital and capital allocation across subsidiaries
- Manage banking relationships and financing facilities
- Oversee debt obligations and funding strategies
- Monitor foreign exchange exposure and financial risks
- Ensure effective cash forecasting and treasury controls
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, Kuwait regulations, and corporate governance standards
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls and financial policies
- Lead annual external audits and coordinate with auditors
- Ensure statutory reporting compliance
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks
- Partner with subsidiary General Managers and department heads
- Drive business performance and financial accountability
- Provide commercial and operational financial analysis
- Monitor profitability across business units
- Support business development, investments, and strategic projects
- Identify cost optimization opportunities
- Lead, mentor, and develop finance teams across all subsidiaries
- Promote accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance
- Standardize finance policies and procedures throughout the Group
- Drive finance transformation and automation initiatives
- Oversee ERP systems and financial technology platforms
- Establish and monitor key financial performance indicators (KPIs)
Bachelor's Degree in:
- Accounting
- Finance
- Economics
- Related Field
MBA or Master's Degree in Finance or Business Administration (Preferred)
Professional Certification (Mandatory):
- CPA
- ACCA
- CA
- CMA
Minimum 15 years of progressive finance experience
Minimum 7 years in a senior finance leadership role
Minimum 10 years of GCC experience (Kuwait experience preferred)
