HSE Officer Required – Construction Company

A leading construction company in Kuwait is looking for a qualified and experienced HSE Officer to join their team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of site safety management, risk assessment, HSE procedures, and Kuwait safety regulations.

Candidates with KOC / KNPC project experience will be highly preferred.

• Implement and monitor company HSE policies, procedures, and site safety plans.
• Conduct daily site inspections and identify potential safety hazards.
• Perform toolbox talks, safety briefings, and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with Kuwait labor laws, ministry requirements, and international safety standards.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct safety training for employees and subcontractors.
• Maintain HSE records, permits, audit documents, and regulatory reports.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and supervisors to improve workplace safety.
• Promote a strong safety culture across project sites.
• Ensure emergency procedures are properly implemented.

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in:
  • Occupational Health & Safety
  • Environmental Science
  • Related Safety Field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an HSE Officer in the construction industry.
• Experience with construction site safety management.
• Knowledge of:
  • ISO 45001 standards
  • OSHA safety practices
  • Kuwait HSE regulations
• KOC / KNPC approval or certification is preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Ability to lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance on-site.
• Good reporting and documentation skills.
