Hiring Indian Restaurant Chef & Kitchen Staff in Kuwait
A popular South Indian and Mughlai restaurant in Kuwait is urgently seeking qualified, diligent, and competent Restaurant Chefs & Kitchen Staff to join its team in Mangaf, Kuwait.
The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.
Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare authentic Malabar porattas, crispy dosas, and breakfast varieties according to traditional recipes.
- Cook authentic South Indian and North Indian curries, masala dishes, and tandoor items with consistent flavor.
- Maintain strict hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards across preparation counters and cooking ranges.
- Operate hot plates, tandoor ovens, and deep fryers safely while adhering to kitchen safety procedures.
- Coordinate smoothly with dining room stewards and expeditors to fulfill dine-in and delivery orders rapidly.
- Manage food ingredient rotation following FIFO guidelines and report inventory shortages promptly.
- Adhere strictly to Kuwait municipality food hygiene directives and restaurant operational policies.
Requirements
- 2-5 Years of verified cooking experience in commercial South Indian or multi-cuisine restaurants.
- Valid Kuwait Baladiya Health Card is strictly mandatory.
- Valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18).
- Strong culinary discipline, physical stamina, and capability to work in busy kitchen shifts.
- Good interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.
- Immediate availability to commence employment is highly preferred.
