Hiring Industrial Safety Officer in Kuwait
A recognized engineering contracting enterprise operating in Shuwaikh, Kuwait is recruiting a qualified Safety Officer for a 2-month reliever assignment.
The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.
Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise site occupational health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices on operational project sites.
- Conduct daily Tool Box Talks (TBT), safety briefings, and inspect Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Monitor site execution adhering strictly to KOC safety regulations and valid Permit to Work (PTW) protocols.
- Identify potential site hazards, unsafe working conditions, and implement prompt corrective measures.
- Perform regular inspections of scaffolding, excavation shoring, electrical cables, and heavy plant equipment.
- Prepare detailed daily HSE inspection logs and incident notification reports for project management.
Requirements
- Active KOC Approval as Safety Officer is strictly mandatory.
- NEBOSH IGC certification or equivalent accredited occupational health and safety diploma.
- Minimum 3 years of HSE experience in industrial, energy, or oil and gas contracting projects.
- Available immediately for reliever duty during November and December.
- Valid Kuwait transferable residency (Article 18).
