Hiring Senior Tax & Commercial VAT Accountant in Kuwait
A prominent corporate enterprise in Kuwait is hiring a meticulous and qualified Senior Tax & Commercial VAT Accountant to join its financial management division in Kuwait City, Kuwait.
The candidate will manage general ledger accounting, accounts payable/receivable, financial reconciliation, and periodic reporting in compliance with international standards.
We seek professionals with strong analytical rigor, ERP software proficiency, and transferable residency.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and monthly balances.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, verifying invoices and payment vouchers.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, trial balances, and management expenditure reports.
- Ensure rigorous compliance with internal accounting controls and Kuwait commercial tax regulations.
- Coordinate with internal and external audit teams during periodic financial reviews.
- Support annual budget preparations, cost analysis, and variance monitoring.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / CMA is mandatory.
- 4-8 Years of verified accounting or auditing experience in Kuwait or GCC commercial sectors.
- Proficiency in ERP accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or QuickBooks) and advanced Excel.
- Sound knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and financial reconciliation procedures.
- Valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa (Article 18).
Salary & Benefits
