Role Summary
A growing hospitality group in Kuwait City is urgently hiring a Cost Controller for the Food & Beverage division to manage cost control, inventory, and margin improvement across kitchens, bars, and outlets.
Key Responsibilities
• Monthly Cost Control: Oversee monthly F&B cost analysis and COGS reporting.
• Inventory Management: Manage stock levels, monitor stock transfers, and control kitchen, bar, and storage inventories.
• Costing and Menu Pricing: Work with chefs to calculate item costs and recipe costing; recommend menu pricing to achieve target margins.
• Variance Analysis: Conduct regular reviews of F&B cost variances and provide corrective action plans.
• Reporting: Generate weekly and monthly F&B cost reports and present findings to the Finance Manager.
• Waste Management: Implement procedures to minimize waste and maximize resource utilization.
• Cross Functional Coordination: Liaise with procurement, kitchen, and operations to ensure accurate costing and timely replenishment.
Qualifications and Skills
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Experience: Several years of experience in F&B cost control, financial management, or hospitality operations.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, costing, inventory control, and menu pricing.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and reporting abilities with attention to detail.
• Systems: Proficiency in MS Office; experience with inventory or POS systems is an advantage.
• Attributes: Organized, proactive, able to work under pressure, and a strong team player.
Offer and Preferences
• Salary Package: KD 500–600 (based on experience).
• Nationality Preference: India, Sri Lanka preferred.
• Start Date: Immediate joiners preferred.
• Location: Kuwait City.
