Role Summary
Urgently required: a motivated Junior Accountant to join a general trading company based in Dajeej, Kuwait. This is a hands‑on accounting role supporting day‑to‑day finance operations and month‑end activities.
Key Responsibilities
• Full‑cycle bookkeeping: record sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
• Accounts payable and receivable: prepare invoices, follow up on collections, and process supplier payments.
• Bank reconciliations and petty cash management.
• Assist with month‑end close and basic financial reporting.
• Support audits and maintain organised accounting records.
Requirements
• Experience: Preferably 1–2 years in accounting (local Kuwait experience is an advantage).
• Education: Diploma or degree in Accounting/Finance or related field preferred.
• Skills: Good knowledge of accounting principles; proficient in MS Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
• Attributes: Detail‑oriented, reliable, good communication and organisational skills.
• Residency: Candidates currently in Kuwait preferred.
