Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Lead and train kitchen staff; assign duties, monitor performance, and manage shift handovers.
- Ensure food quality and consistency by enforcing recipes, portion control, and presentation standards.
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards in line with local regulations and company policies.
- Plan and manage inventory; monitor stock levels, minimize waste, and coordinate with procurement.
- Coordinate with catering/event teams to meet schedules, special menus, and client requirements.
- Handle breakdowns and emergencies in the kitchen and escalate issues to management when needed.
- Prepare basic reports on food usage, staff attendance, and kitchen performance.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience as a kitchen supervisor or senior cook in catering, hotel, or large‑scale food service.
- Visa: Ahali visa No. 18 (transferable) required.
- Skills: Strong leadership, time management, and food safety knowledge.
- Technical: Good knowledge of menu planning, portion control, and kitchen equipment.
- Language: Basic English for coordination; additional languages an advantage.
- Availability: Immediate joining preferred.
