Role Overview
A reputable fabrication and woodworking company in Kuwait is urgently hiring skilled tradespeople for fabrication, finishing, and precision laser cutting operations. Candidates must be hands‑on, safety‑conscious, and able to work in a fast‑paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- TIG Welder / Fabricator: Perform TIG welding, metal fabrication, fitting, grinding, and finishing; read fabrication drawings; ensure weld quality and safety compliance.
- Carpenter (Fabrication): Build and assemble wooden fixtures, joinery, and custom furniture; interpret shop drawings; finish and install fabricated items.
- Fiber Laser Operator: Operate fiber laser cutting machines; set up jobs, load/unload materials, perform routine maintenance; prepare and modify cutting files; ensure dimensional accuracy.
- AutoCAD Design (for Laser Operator role): Create and edit 2D/3D cutting files and nesting layouts in AutoCAD; convert client drawings to production‑ready files.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 1–3 years (or as specified by employer) in the relevant trade; proven experience operating fiber laser machines and using AutoCAD for the laser role.
- Skills: Strong welding techniques (TIG), carpentry/fabrication skills, machine setup, reading technical drawings, quality checks.
- Visa: Transferable visa (Article 18) preferred; local candidates in Kuwait welcome.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work independently and in teams; punctual and safety‑focused.
- Availability: Immediate joiners preferred.
