Job Location: Kuwait
Role: Safety In‑Charge Lead Engineer
Experience: 10–15 years post‑qualification in safety engineering and team leadership
Sectors: Manufacturing, Waste Management, or Construction preferred
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; safety certifications required
Responsibilities
- Lead safety program development and implementation across projects.
- Manage and mentor the safety team; assign duties and monitor performance.
- Develop and enforce safety policies, procedures, and permit‑to‑work systems.
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections; prepare reports and corrective action plans.
- Investigate incidents and near misses, lead root‑cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Coordinate with operations and contractors to ensure compliance with regulatory and client standards.
- Deliver safety training and toolbox talks; maintain training records.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Engineering (mandatory).
- 10–15 years of relevant post‑qualification experience in safety roles.
- Proven experience leading a safety team and managing multi‑discipline stakeholders.
- Essential safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent).
- Demonstrated experience in Manufacturing, Waste Management, or Construction environments.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment, HSE management systems, incident investigation, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, report writing, and leadership skills.
- Immediate availability preferred.
