Hiring Mechanical Maintenance Technician & Supervisor in Kuwait
A reputable mechanical contracting and industrial maintenance enterprise (Gulf Square GTC) is urgently seeking experienced, hands-on, and competent Mechanical Maintenance Supervisors & Technicians to join its team in Fahaheel, Kuwait.
The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.
Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, overhaul, and repairs on industrial pumps, valves, compressors, and rotating equipment.
- Inspect mechanical seals, bearings, impellers, shaft alignments, and couplings using dial indicators.
- Supervise on-site mechanical overhaul activities during planned industrial plant shutdowns.
- Troubleshoot mechanical vibration, excessive operating temperatures, and hydraulic leakage issues.
- Execute gasket replacements, bolt torquing to specification, and hydrostatic pressure testing.
- Coordinate daily mechanical tasks between foremen and technicians, ensuring full adherence to site safety permits.
- Prepare detailed maintenance inspection reports and component replacement logs.
Requirements
- 3-7 Years of practical mechanical maintenance experience in petrochemical plants, refineries, or pump overhaul workshops.
- In-depth practical knowledge of industrial centrifugal pumps, positive displacement pumps, and control valves.
- Ability to supervise teams and coordinate multiple maintenance work-fronts.
- Valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18).
- Candidates located near Fahaheel or Southern Kuwait with immediate joining readiness.
