Mid-Level Accountant Required

Wajda Group is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mid-Level Accountant to join its Finance Department in Kuwait. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in financial reporting, cash flow management, budgeting, ERP systems, and accounting operations.

Candidates with experience in Telecom, Contracting, Engineering, or Trading & Sales industries will be highly preferred.

• Maintain the General Ledger and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including:
  • Profit & Loss Statements
  • Balance Sheets
  • Cash Flow Statements
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow forecasts and reports.
• Monitor cash flow movement and support business liquidity planning.
• Assist in working capital management and payment planning.
• Coordinate with management regarding financial planning and fund utilization.
• Prepare Budget vs Actual variance analysis and management reports.
• Monitor customer receivables and support collection follow-ups.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
• Support payroll accounting and month-end/year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT regulations, company policies, and internal controls.
• Assist internal and external audit requirements.
• Maintain accounting records through ERP systems (Odoo experience preferred).
• Support annual budgeting and other finance-related assignments.

• Post-graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in Telecom, Contracting, Engineering, or Trading & Sales industries preferred.
• Professional qualification required:
  • ACCA
  • CMA
  • CPA
  • CA (Part Qualified or Qualified)
• Strong experience in:
  • Cash Flow Management
  • Financial Forecasting
  • Budgeting
  • Financial Reporting
• Experience with ERP systems (Odoo preferred).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of IFRS and VAT regulations.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
• Immediate joining preferred.
• Pakistani nationality preferred.
