Urgent Hiring – Experienced Accountant Required in Kuwait
Wajda Group is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Mid-Level Accountant to join its Finance Department. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in financial accounting, cash flow management, budgeting, financial reporting, and ERP systems. Experience in the Telecom, Contracting, Engineering, or Trading & Sales sectors will be an advantage.
Job Responsibilities- Maintain the General Ledger and ensure accurate financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement).
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow forecasts and financial plans.
- Monitor cash inflows, outflows, and working capital.
- Support payment planning and fund utilization.
- Prepare Budget vs. Actual variance reports.
- Monitor receivable aging and coordinate collection follow-ups.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Assist with payroll accounting and month-end/year-end closing.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT regulations, and company policies.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Record financial transactions using ERP systems (Odoo preferred).
- Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Postgraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience in Telecom, Contracting, Engineering, or Trading & Sales industries preferred.
- Professional qualification (ACCA, CMA, CPA, or CA – Part Qualified or Qualified) is mandatory.

- Experience with Odoo ERP or similar ERP systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Good knowledge of IFRS and VAT regulations.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
