Hiring Mechanical Maintenance Foreman in Kuwait
A premier oil & gas contracting firm in Salmiya, Kuwait, executing major energy plant projects, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Foreman to direct field maintenance crews.
The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.
Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise mechanical technicians executing overhauls on rotating and static refinery equipment (pumps, valves, turbines).
- Direct piping alignment, mechanical seal replacements, flange torquing, and gasket installations.
- Review daily work orders, interpret mechanical P&IDs, and assign tasks to maintenance workforces.
- Ensure full compliance with oilfield safety permits (Permit-to-Work, Lockout/Tagout, confined space entry).
- Inspect completed mechanical repairs to certify quality, alignment tolerances, and vibration balance.
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical credential.
- 5 to 7 years proven supervisory experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or refinery maintenance in the GCC.
- Strong technical leadership, permit-to-work knowledge, and safety discipline.
- Transferable Kuwait residency under Article 18.
