Experienced Production Engineer required for power transformer manufacturing. The role focuses on supervising shop‑floor production, ensuring quality and safety, troubleshooting manufacturing challenges, and improving assembly and winding processes to meet production targets and technical specifications.

• Oversee manufacturing processes for power transformers from core lamination to final assembly.

• Supervise coil winding operations and ensure correct application of different winding techniques.

• Read and interpret winding drawings and isometrics and ensure fabrication matches drawings.

• Manage core lamination cutting and stacking processes and monitor dimensional accuracy.

• Control Core and Coil assembly procedures and resolve assembly challenges.

• Supervise Vacuum OLTC installation and connections and ensure correct integration.

• Oversee drying operations in the vapor phase drying plant and manage vacuum/pressurization procedures.

• Implement assembly and safety procedures and maintain shop floor discipline and tidy assembly lines.

• Coordinate with QA, maintenance, and production teams to meet schedules and quality targets.

• Prepare production reports, nonconformance records, and improvement proposals.

• Proven experience in power transformer manufacturing processes.

• Thorough knowledge of coil winding techniques and ability to read winding drawings.

• Familiarity with core lamination cutting, stacking, and core/coil assembly.

• Experience with Vacuum OLTC, vapor phase drying, vacuum and pressurization techniques.

• Strong understanding of assembly instruments, tools, and safety procedures.

• Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to maintain shop floor discipline.

• Team player with a cooperative attitude and ability to train and supervise technicians.

• AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or relevant trade preferred.

• Updated CV with detailed transformer manufacturing experience.

• Copies of educational certificates and trade qualifications.

• Experience certificates from previous transformer or electrical manufacturing employers.

• Any relevant training or safety certificates.

• Civil ID and visa copy if currently in Kuwait.
