Urgent Hiring – Safety Officer
A company in Kuwait is looking for a qualified Safety Officer to join their team. Candidates with strong HSE knowledge, NEBOSH certification, and Kuwait experience are encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities- Implement and monitor company health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies.
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, and site assessments.
- Perform risk assessments and ensure proper safety procedures are followed.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety induction training.
- Monitor permit-to-work systems and safety compliance.
- Investigate incidents and prepare safety reports.
- Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain safety documentation and records.
- Ensure compliance with Kuwait safety regulations and company standards.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Safety Officer.
- NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory.
- Degree/Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
- Good knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessment, and incident reporting.
- Experience conducting toolbox talks, inspections, and audits.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and reporting abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Valid Article 18 transferable visa required.
- Candidates must be currently residing in Kuwait.
- Salary: KD 200–300 per month.
