Urgent Hiring – Safety Supervisor / HSSE Admin
A company in Ahmadi, Kuwait is urgently hiring a qualified and experienced Safety Supervisor / HSSE Admin. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in power plants, desalination plants, construction, or other high-risk industries.
Candidates with the required NEBOSH or technical qualification and mandatory GWO certifications are encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities- Supervise daily health, safety, and environmental activities at the worksite.
- Monitor employees and ensure safe working practices are followed.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Ensure workers follow HSE policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness briefings.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining HSE/HSSE reports and documentation.
- Record and follow up on safety observations, incidents, and corrective actions.
- Maintain safety checklists, inspection records, and certification documents.
- Coordinate with site management regarding safety requirements.
- Support emergency preparedness and workplace safety activities.
- Promote a strong safety culture among employees and contractors.
- Ensure safety documentation is complete, organized, and up to date.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in power plants, desalination plants, construction, or other high-risk industries.
- Technical degree OR NEBOSH International General Certificate (or equivalent).
- Mandatory GWO Certifications:
- GWO Basic Safety Training
- GWO Enhanced First Aid
- GWO Control of Hazardous Energies
- Strong understanding of HSE/HSSE procedures and workplace safety.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-risk industrial environment.
- Must be currently residing in Kuwait.
- Local candidates only.
