Location: Kuwait
Position: Project Sales Engineer Building Automation and Low Voltage

Role Overview

A growing systems integrator is seeking an experienced Project Sales Engineer with strong technical knowledge in building automation, low voltage systems, and lighting solutions. You will drive project sales, support technical proposals, and work closely with sales executives and distributors to win and deliver automation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Solution Selling: Support sales team and distributors with technical solution selling for building automation and low voltage projects.

  • Pre Sales Support: Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demos, and proof of concept materials that highlight the value proposition.

  • RFP RFI Management: Manage technical responses to RFPs and RFIs, produce compliant technical proposals and BOQs.

  • Customer Engagement: Identify customer needs, map requirements to solutions, and build long term client relationships.

  • Project Handover: Communicate client requirements to engineering and back office teams for implementation and product enhancement.

  • Collaboration: Partner with sales executives to plan and execute strategic deals and account growth activities.

  • Reporting: Maintain pipeline updates, technical documentation, and post‑sales feedback.

Requirements
  • Experience: Proven sales engineering experience in building automation and low voltage project sales.

  • Technical Background: Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic, or telecommunications engineering.

  • Product Knowledge: Familiarity with lighting products, controls, BMS, sensors, and integration protocols.

  • Skills: Strong presentation, negotiation, and customer service skills; ability to translate technical features into business value.

  • Languages: Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.

  • Mobility: Kuwait driving license is an advantage.

  • Visa: Transferable work visa preferred.

  • Attributes: Results oriented, self starter, able to work in a fast paced environment and travel to client sites.
