Senior Accountant needed in Kuwait

Local Hiring Only (Candidates Currently Residing in Kuwait)
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting the organization's financial goals through effective accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial data
- Monitor and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
- Ensure compliance with Kuwaiti regulations, accounting standards, and company policies
- Support internal and external audits
- Assist with tax filings, documentation, and regulatory requirements
- Analyze financial information and provide recommendations to management
- Maintain proper accounting documentation and filing systems
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience (Kuwait experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of:
- Accounting principles
- Financial reporting
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Financial analysis
Proficiency in:
- Accounting software/ERP systems
- Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Immediate joiners will be given preference
Preferred Qualifications- Experience working in Kuwait-based organizations
- Knowledge of Kuwait tax and regulatory requirements
- Experience handling audits and compliance activities
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent are an advantage
