Hiring Specialty Barista & Pastry Baker in Kuwait
A premier boutique cafe in Kuwait is seeking a talented Barista and dedicated Bakery Chef to craft exquisite coffee beverages and bake signature artisanal desserts including molten cakes, cheesecakes, and birthday creations.
The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.
Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate commercial espresso machinery, calibrate grinders, and prepare specialty hot and cold coffee drinks with latte art.
- Bake and assemble gourmet pastry desserts including molten lava cakes, New York cheesecakes, and decorated celebration cakes.
- Uphold meticulous hygiene standards, sanitize food contact surfaces, and monitor refrigeration temps.
- Communicate professionally with Arabic-speaking and English-speaking clientele regarding menu selections.
- Manage baking ingredient stocks and ensure all bakery goods are served fresh daily.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in a high-end cafe, bakery, or pastry shop.
- Fluent in conversational Arabic and English communication.
- Disciplined personal hygiene, artistic dessert decoration skills, and strong work ethic.
- Valid and transferable Kuwait residency (Article 18).
