Accountant – Jewelry Store

Alnasser Jewellery is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join its team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting skills and experience handling gold, diamond, inventory, sales, supplier, and workshop accounts.

• Prepare monthly financial reports and budgets.
• Support month-end closing and accounting activities.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate financial discrepancies.
• Carry out daily gold closing and reconcile balances and quantities with the accounting system.
• Conduct monthly stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
• Reconcile sales and invoices with KNET transactions, payment terminals, and online payment gateways.
• Follow up on customer deposits, outstanding balances, and invoices.
• Monitor customer accounts and ensure timely collection of outstanding amounts.
• Manage supplier and workshop accounts.
• Perform regular supplier and workshop account reconciliations.
• Verify invoices, workmanship charges, and received goods.
• Enter and review gold and diamond inventory data accurately.
• Maintain records of gold cost, supplier details, weight, gold prices, and workmanship charges.
• Maintain accurate diamond records, including color, clarity, and other relevant details.
• Monitor inventory cost and valuation.
• Ensure purchase records and inventory records match supplier and workshop invoices.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in accounting and inventory records.

• 3–15 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting and financial reconciliation.
• Experience with inventory accounting is preferred.
• Jewelry industry or gold and diamond accounting experience will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of sales reconciliation and payment transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to manage supplier, customer, and workshop accounts.
• Good organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

KWD 350–600 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
