Hiring Elevator & Escalator Technician in Kuwait

A premier vertical transportation engineering company providing lift installation and servicing in Farwaniya, Kuwait is hiring a skilled Elevator Technician.

The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.

Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.

Job Responsibilities

• Execute routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on commercial passenger elevators and escalators.
• Inspect traction hoist motors, steel suspension cables, guide rails, brake calipers, and counterweights.
• Troubleshoot lift electronic control panels, variable frequency inverters, door operators, and floor leveling sensors.
• Service escalator drive chains, steps, comb plates, safety switches, and rubber handrail mechanisms.
• Perform emergency passenger rescue procedures and investigate operational shutdown causes safely.
• Comply rigorously with EN 81 elevator safety codes, wearing certified safety harnesses when on car roofs.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of practical experience in elevator and escalator installation, modernization, or repair.
• Strong understanding of mechanical drive systems, safety gear, and lift electrical schematics.
• Valid trade certification or engineering diploma.
• Valid Kuwait transferable residency (Article 18).
• Dependable, safety-minded, and capable of working emergency on-call shifts.
