Job Vacancy: Commis – Vegetable Section

A catering or central kitchen company in Al Qurain, Kuwait is looking for a hardworking and reliable Commis – Vegetable Section to support daily kitchen preparation activities.

The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of fruit and vegetable preparation, good hygiene practices, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.

• Receive and check fruits and vegetables upon delivery.
• Clean and wash fruits and vegetables properly.
• Peel, cut, slice, and prepare vegetables and fruits according to kitchen requirements.
• Prepare ingredients for daily kitchen production and cooking.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the vegetable preparation area.
• Follow proper food safety and food handling procedures.
• Store fruits and vegetables correctly to maintain freshness.
• Organize ingredients and maintain proper stock rotation.
• Assist the kitchen team with daily preparation tasks.
• Follow instructions from chefs and kitchen supervisors.
• Keep preparation tools and work areas clean and organized.

• Previous experience in a catering company, restaurant, central kitchen, or food production environment is preferred.
• Good knowledge of fruit and vegetable preparation.
• Ability to peel, cut, slice, wash, and prepare vegetables efficiently.
• Basic ability to read and understand English.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safe food handling practices.
• Hardworking, clean, and physically fit.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Responsible and willing to follow kitchen procedures.

• Salary: KWD 250 per month.
