Urgent Hiring – Electromechanical Engineer in Kuwait
A company in Kuwait City is looking for an experienced and technically skilled Electromechanical Engineer to handle the installation, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of electrical and mechanical systems.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and engineering operations. Applicants currently residing inside Kuwait are preferred/required.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, supervise, and coordinate electrical and mechanical installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on:
- Motors
- Pumps
- Compressors
- Generators
- HVAC systems
- Control panels
- Machinery and other equipment
- Inspect equipment and identify potential failures or maintenance requirements.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and technical manuals.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, technicians, and engineering teams.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements for better reliability and efficiency.
- Ensure all engineering and maintenance activities follow safety standards and manufacturer recommendations.
- Prepare maintenance reports, technical reports, equipment records, and other documentation.
- Monitor spare parts requirements and coordinate with procurement teams.
- Support installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of new equipment.
- Assist with energy-saving initiatives and identify opportunities to reduce maintenance and operating costs.
- Supervise technicians and maintenance teams when required.
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are properly implemented.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in:
- Electromechanical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Or a related engineering field
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in electromechanical engineering or maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Practical experience with:
- Motors and pumps
- Compressors
- Generators
- HVAC systems
- Control panels
- Automation systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read technical drawings, electrical schematics, and P&IDs.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to supervise technicians and handle maintenance activities independently.
- Strong commitment to safety and equipment reliability.
