Hiring Inventory Controller cum Assistant Accountant in Kuwait

A reputable commercial trading firm in Kuwait City is recruiting a meticulous Inventory Controller cum Assistant Accountant to maintain warehouse inventory books and support the finance department.

The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.

Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.

Job Responsibilities

• Track daily stock receipts, store dispatches, and warehouse transfers within computerized inventory systems.
• Prepare purchase requests, verify incoming delivery notes, and generate internal purchase orders.
• Conduct weekly and monthly physical stock audits, investigating and reconciling book discrepancies.
• Assist senior accountants with accounts payable vouchers, petty cash tracking, and supplier reconciliations.
• Compile detailed inventory valuation reports and slow-moving stock summaries in Microsoft Excel.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
• Sound knowledge of double-entry accounting principles and inventory valuation methods.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, lookups, and reporting).
• Transferable residency in Kuwait.
