Job Vacancy: Mechanical Planning Engineer

A company in Kuwait is urgently looking for an experienced Mechanical Planning Engineer to work on Oil & Gas / KNPC projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in mechanical and piping construction planning, project scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting. KNPC/KOC project experience is mandatory.

• Develop and maintain project schedules for mechanical and piping activities.
• Prepare baseline schedules and detailed project execution plans.
• Prepare weekly and monthly look-ahead schedules.
• Monitor project progress against planned targets.
• Prepare manpower plans, progress reports, and S-curves.
• Track project milestones, activities, and completion dates.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, procurement, and project management teams.
• Identify schedule delays and support corrective action plans.
• Monitor manpower and resource requirements.
• Provide regular updates on project progress and schedule performance.
• Ensure planning activities are aligned with project requirements and deadlines.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering – Mandatory.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience as a Mechanical Planning Engineer.
• Strong experience in Oil & Gas / EPC projects.
• Experience with mechanical and piping construction activities.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Experience preparing:
  • Baseline schedules
  • Look-ahead schedules
  • Manpower plans
  • Progress reports
  • S-curves
• Good coordination skills with construction, engineering, procurement, and project teams.
• KNPC / KOC project experience is mandatory.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be available for immediate joining.
