Urgent Hiring – Data Engineer for Oil & Gas Project
Applications are invited from qualified and experienced Data Engineers for a prestigious Oil & Gas project in Kuwait on a manpower supply / secondment basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and reliable data pipelines, data lakes, and data processing workflows to support analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Business Intelligence solutions.
Job Responsibilities- Design and develop scalable and reliable data pipelines.
- Build and maintain data lakes and data processing workflows.
- Ensure data is collected, processed, and delivered efficiently.
- Support analytics, AI, and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.
- Maintain data processing systems and troubleshoot pipeline issues.
- Monitor data workflows for performance, reliability, and availability.
- Work with technical teams to integrate data from different sources.
- Ensure data solutions meet project requirements and organizational standards.
- Support data-related technical activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with IT, analytics, AI, and other project teams.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant professional experience.
- Bachelor of Engineering degree in:
- Information Technology
- Computer Engineering
- Computer Science
- Or an equivalent engineering/technical discipline.
- Degree/course duration should be more than 3 years.
- Strong understanding of data engineering concepts and data processing workflows.
- Experience designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines.
- Knowledge of data lakes and analytics/BI environments.
- Ability to work effectively in a large project environment.
- Oil & Gas project experience will be an advantage.
