Role Summary

Hiring an Electrical and Low Voltage Engineer to join a contracting company as a working partner. The role covers design, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and low‑voltage systems on contracting projects, with hands‑on site involvement and coordination with project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and review electrical layouts for power distribution and low‑voltage systems.

• Install and commission LV panels, distribution boards, cable trays, and wiring systems.

• Implement low‑voltage systems including fire alarm, access control, CCTV, public address, and structured cabling.

• Perform testing and commissioning of electrical and LV systems; prepare test reports and punch‑list closure.

• Coordinate with MEP teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timely delivery and compliance.

• Ensure compliance with local codes, safety standards, and project specifications.

• Prepare BOQs, material takeoffs, and technical submittals.

• Provide technical support during installation, site supervision, and handover.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree: Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

• Experience: Minimum 3–7 years in electrical and low‑voltage systems on contracting projects; GCC experience preferred.

• Technical skills: Power distribution, LV switchgear, earthing, cable sizing, and familiarity with low‑voltage systems (CCTV, access control, fire alarm, structured cabling).

• Software: Proficient with AutoCAD, electrical calculation tools, and MS Office.

• Certifications: Professional license or local equivalence is an advantage.

• Attributes: Strong site supervision skills, problem solving, good communication, and ability to work as a partner/stakeholder on projects.
