Job Vacancy: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

A leading organization in Kuwait is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial strategy, improve business performance, and drive sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in financial leadership, treasury management, banking facilities, and corporate finance.

• Develop and implement the Group’s financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to the Managing Director and Executive Management.
• Support business expansion, investment decisions, and long-term growth plans.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and scenario analysis.

• Oversee all accounting and finance operations across the Group.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Monitor profitability, cash flow, working capital, and financial performance.
• Develop financial dashboards and management reports for decision-making.
• Strengthen internal controls, policies, and financial procedures.

• Manage relationships with local and international banks.
• Oversee banking facilities including:
  • Letters of Credit (LCs)
  • Letters of Guarantees (LGs)
  • Performance Bonds
  • Tender Bonds
  • Overdrafts
  • Trade Finance
• Optimize financing structures and banking solutions.

• Develop and monitor KPIs across departments.
• Conduct financial risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Improve business processes and governance frameworks.
• Support continuous operational improvement.

• Review tenders, commercial risks, pricing strategies, and contract terms.
• Monitor project profitability, gross margins, and cost performance.
• Work closely with Commercial and Operations teams.

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance team.
• Build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with all departments to achieve business goals.

✅ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
✅ Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent is highly preferred.
✅ Minimum 12–15 years of progressive finance experience.
✅ Minimum 5 years of experience in senior financial leadership roles.
✅ Experience in one or more sectors:

• EPC Support

• Banking Facilities & Trade Finance

• ERP Systems knowledge (Odoo experience is an advantage)
