Hiring KOC Project Kuwait
Role Summary
A reputed contracting company in Kuwait is urgently hiring a Safety Officer for a Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) project. This is a local‑transfer hire for candidates already in Kuwait; priority will be given to applicants with existing KOC approval.
Key Details
• Project: Kuwait Oil Company (KOC)
• Location: Kuwait
• Salary Range: KD 500 – 550
• Hiring Type: Local transfer from within Kuwait
• Priority: Candidates with prior KOC approval preferred
Qualification Options and Experience
Option 1
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Science OR Diploma in Engineering from a recognised university.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years experience as HSE personnel in relevant field.
Option 2
• Education: High school pass.
• Certifications: NEBOSH from a reputable institute.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years total experience, including 7 years as HSE personnel in the relevant field.
Required Certifications and Training
• NEBOSH or equivalent recognised safety qualification.
• Certified courses in one or more of: General Industrial Safety; Construction Safety; Environmental Management; Industrial Hygiene; ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 Lead Auditor; ASSP Global Safety Management or equivalent.
• First Aider certification as per KOC.HE.004.
• Any additional KOC HSE approvals or site‑specific certifications will be an advantage.
Core Responsibilities
• Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures on the KOC project.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.
• Ensure compliance with KOC safety standards and Kuwait regulatory requirements.
• Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate HSE training and maintain training records.
• Liaise with project management, contractors, and KOC HSE representatives.
