Role Summary
A leading company in Kuwait is hiring an HSE Safety Officer to support workplace safety and environmental compliance. The role reports directly to the HSE Manager and involves implementing, monitoring, and enforcing health, safety, and environmental policies across sites and offices.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct daily safety inspections in site and office areas.
• Ensure compliance with Kuwait safety regulations and local laws.
• Maintain records of incidents, near‑misses, inspections, and audits.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Conduct HSE training sessions for employees.
• Monitor emissions, effluents, and environmental hazards.
• Promote a strong safety culture and enforce company HSE standards.
Qualifications
• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Experience: 2–5 years in HSE (construction, oil & gas, or industrial sectors preferred).
• Knowledge: Familiarity with Kuwait labor law and HSE regulations.
• Certifications: Valid HSE certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA preferred.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of MS Office and reporting tools.
• Nationality: Open to all.
