Role Summary
A leading company in Kuwait is hiring a Junior Accounts Officer (Accountant) to support daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and assist with financial reporting and audits. This role reports directly to the Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain general ledger and post journal entries.
2. Record daily transactions including sales, purchases, expenses, and payroll.
3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
4. Process employee salaries, leave, indemnity, and end‑of‑service calculations.
5. Ensure accuracy of financial data and compliance with Kuwait regulations.
6. Support audits and provide required documentation.
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• Experience: 1–2 years of accounting experience (Gulf experience preferred).
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of accounting software (Tally, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and strong proficiency in MS Excel.
• Nationality: Open to all.
• Attributes: Detail‑oriented, reliable, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
