Role Summary
A Food & Beverage company in Subhan, Kuwait is hiring a Senior Accountant on Visa 18 Ahli. Only Arab nationals will be considered. The role covers financial reporting, VAT compliance, month‑end closing, treasury, budgeting, and ERP management.
Key Responsibilities
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Month‑End Close: Lead month‑end closing activities, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• VAT Compliance: Ensure accurate VAT calculations, filings, and documentation.
• Treasury Management: Manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, and daily liquidity.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis; support business planning.
• ERP & Systems: Maintain and optimize accounting processes in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, Tally, QuickBooks).
• Controls & Audit: Implement internal controls, support audits, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Team Collaboration: Coordinate with operations, procurement, and payroll to ensure accurate accounting treatment.
Qualifications and Skills
• Degree: Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: Proven experience in the F&B or hospitality sector.
• Technical: Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, Tally, QuickBooks).
• Knowledge: Solid understanding of VAT, financial reporting standards, and month‑end processes.
• Analytical: Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Location & Visa: Based in Kuwait; Visa 18 Ahli required.
• Nationality: Arabs only.
