Logistics Operations Executive – Kuwait (Immediate Hiring)
Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Operations Executive to join our team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding, with hands-on experience managing international shipments from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end shipment operations, including:
- Pickup coordination
- Freight booking (air, sea, land)
- Customs clearance
- Transportation arrangements
- Prepare and manage all shipping documents, such as:
- Commercial invoices
- Packing lists
- Certificates of origin
- Air Waybills / Bills of Lading
- Request and compare freight quotes from multiple forwarders.
- Calculate freight charges accurately based on weight, volume, and route.
- Track and monitor shipments, ensuring clear communication with suppliers, forwarders, and internal teams.
- Handle customs clearance procedures and liaise with clearing agents.
- Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations, including Incoterms.
- Maintain shipment logs, cost reports, and ensure timely deliveries.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of practical experience in logistics and freight forwarding.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Shipping terms & Incoterms
- Freight calculation methods
- Customs documentation & clearance
- End-to-end logistics workflows
- Familiarity with GCC logistics operations is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and logistics software.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
- Highly organized, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
