Role Summary
A leading hospitality/operational group in Kuwait is hiring a Senior Cost Controller to lead F&B cost control across multiple outlets and production units. This is an on‑site, full‑time role for a commercially driven finance professional who can translate operational data into profitability improvements.
Core Responsibilities
• Operational cost control: Recipe costing, menu engineering, yield analysis, waste reduction.
• Production oversight: Monitor central kitchen and production costs; control COGS and labor cost.
• Supplier & procurement support: Supplier price analysis and negotiation support.
• Inventory & stock control: Inventory reconciliation, stock valuation, and shrinkage control.
• Financial analysis & reporting: Cost and variance analysis, gross margin and profitability reporting.
• Budgeting & forecasting: Prepare budgets, rolling forecasts, and scenario analysis.
• Systems & automation: Build dashboards, automate processes, and implement cost‑control tools.
• Cross‑functional partnership: Work closely with operations, procurement, and finance to drive improvements.
Required Skills & Experience
• Proven experience in multi‑branch or multi‑brand F&B cost control and high‑volume operations.
• Strong technical skills: Recipe costing, standard costing, COGS analysis, and labor costing.
• Advanced Excel: Pivot Tables, Power Query, dashboards.
• ERP/POS experience: Familiarity with POS systems (Foodics, Odoo, etc.) and ERPs (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Odoo).
• Data visualization: Power BI or similar tools highly preferred.
• Commercial mindset: Pricing strategy, financial modelling, and scenario analysis.
• Soft skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and attention to detail.
• Residency: Must currently reside in Kuwait with a transferable visa (immediate‑transfer preferred).
